Hardware:

We highly recommend a processor of at least 500mhz even though LCP will run on slower systems. A minimum 64 megabytes of memory is required (128+ megabytes is preferred). A hard drive with at least 2 gigabytes of free space (after the Linux install) is also required. Your processor *must* be x86 compatible. Intel and AMD will work fine. Solaris/Sparc will not.

Software:

Please have Basic development/compiling tools such as gcc, make and g++ as well as xinetd up and running (inetd on FreeBSD). gcc and g++ are required to compile apache and php.

Please do not install services such as Apache, PHP, Ftp, Sendmail, spamassassin as we will do this for you. You can install MySQL, perl, bind or we will install it. Please ensure SSH and WGET is installed and working.
